what is cu certified?

CU Certified (CUC), administered by Century Automotive Service Corporation, is your ultimate vehicle service agreement. CUC covers the cost of parts and labor to repair or replace components in the event of a covered mechanical breakdown. With CUC, you can take your vehicle to any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada, ensuring you’re protected no matter where the road takes you.

CUC offers different levels of protection based on the vehicle year, make, and model.

Typical Repair Costs. Engine: $7054 Transmission: $5000 Timing Chain: $3000 A/C System: $3,200 Starter: $900 Alternator: $700. Typical costs are estimates based on current labor and parts cost and may vary.

  • True $0 Deductible Option: CUC pays for the cost of diagnosing your vehicle’s covered failure.

  • Rental Reimbursement: Rental reimbursement available for up to $50/day up to 5 days per mechanical breakdown.

  • Trip Interruption: If a covered mechanical breakdown occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from home, you may receive up to $100 per day for up to 3 days for meals and lodging.

  • 24 Hour Roadside Assistance: Get roadside assistance for towing, flat tires, jumpstarts, and lockouts.

need to file a claim?

Filing a claim with CU Certified is simple and hassle-free. Follow these steps to ensure your repair process goes smoothly:

  1. Bring your vehicle to any Certified Mechanic in the U.S. or Canada.

  2. Present your CU Certified contract information to the mechanic so they can begin the claim process.

  3. The mechanic will diagnose the issue and contact CU Certified to authorize the repair.

  4. Once authorized, the mechanic will proceed with the necessary repairs, and CU Certified will cover the costs directly.

For any questions or additional assistance during the claim process, contact CU Certified Monday through Friday 7am to 6pm MST and Saturday 8am to 1pm MST.
